Boccia Festival 8th November
On Friday 8th November 2019, the Boccia teams represented the school at the Wantage Area Boccia Competition at Wantage Primary School.
Boccia is an exciting Paralympic precision target ball sport similar to Bowls. It requires great skill, concentration and accuracy to get the target ball closest to the jack.
This was an exciting opportunity for the children to learn new skills and will allowed them to experience a sport at competition level competing against other schools in the Wantage area.
The children all enjoyed the afternoon with Wantage A finishing in 5th place, Wantage B in 6th place and Wantage C in 8th place.
