Badminton Festival
On Thursday 24th October 2019, 10 children from year 4 took part in a badminton festival at King Alfred’s West Site.
The afternoon was made up of a group of activities which introduced the children to the game and skills needed to play badminton. The children worked around the stations practicing as individuals and together as a team. The favourite station was a game using a giant shuttlecock which had similar rules to vollyball.
The children showed great team work by helping each other and working together so that everyone could improve during the afternoon and be the best could be.
