Year 6 congratulated on their Arts Awards
Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils who received their Arts Award Explore certificates from Trinity College London yesterday.
This is a fantastic achievement with each pupil creating an impressive portfolio of artwork over the last 12 months in order to achieve the award.
Arts Award Explore encourages children and young people from the age of 7 upwards to experience different art forms and artists, and develop their own creativity. They keep a personal record of their artistic achievements along the way, noting what they've especially enjoyed on their creative journeys and evidences their participation in a range of arts activities.
The award is designed to encourage young people to build their artistic knowledge, creativity and confidence as they work towards this recognised qualification. Trinity College London manages Arts Award in association with Arts Council England.
